Exote

Exote is a titanium carbide developed by VTT Technical Research Centre of Finland.^[1] It is able to withstand high temperatures and can be used for ballistic protection for personnel and vehicles, for example the Protolab Misu uses a liner of Exote carbide.^[1]^[2]
