F-16 EW Suite ASPIS II
ASPIS II (where ASPIS stands for "Advanced Self- Protection Integrated Suite") [1]is the new Hellenic Air Force (HAF) F-16 Aircraft Electronic Warfare (EW) Suite.
The following F-16 aircraft are equiped with the ASPIS II EW Suite:
- 60 F-16 Block 52+, procured under the Peace Xenia III Program
- 30 F-16 Block 52+Adv, procured under the Peace Xenia IV Program
ASPIS II is the legacy System of the original ASPIS EW Suite installed on the HAF's F-16 Block 30 and Block 50 aircrafts[1] It consists of the ALR-93 Northrop Grumman Radar Warning Receiver (RWR), the ALQ-187 Raytheon Jammer and the BAe ALE-47 Airborne Countermeasures (Chaff-Flare) Dispenser System [2] [3]
