The F-16 Viper Demonstration Team is a United States Air Force flight demonstration team under the 20th Fighter Wing that is currently stationed at Shaw Air Force Base in Sumter, South Carolina. The team flies the USAF's Lockheed Martin F-16 Fighting Falcon at air shows around the world, performing maneuvers that showcase the capabilities of the F-16C. One example from this demonstration is the Falcon Turn.[1][2][3] [4][5][6][7]
The team was originally founded in 1994 until 2011 as the Viper East Demo Team.
The current demonstration pilot and commander of team for 2024 is Captain Taylor "FEMA" Hiester.[8][9]
