FACINGS Inc.
FACINGS is a software-as-a-service startup, bootstrapped by employee-owned blockchain services company Detroit Ledger Technologies. It is a Delaware corporation with personnel located worldwide and has always been a completely remote entity. FACINGS' no code platform enables full-service NFT collection maintenance, minting, publishing, processing payment (in cryptocurrency and in fiat), and is blockchain agnostic, as in, it allows minting to any blockchain. FACINGS enables non-technical participants to enter the NFT space by eliminating the technical barriers to entry.
Robert Konsdorf is co-founder and CEO of FACINGS. Non-fungible tokens have grown exponentially in popularity, usage, and value, and they are a new medium for creative commerce, brand engagement and monetization of creative labor. NFTs have huge potential to evolve Digital rights management, automate royalty payment distribution, and at their core, change the nature of ownership in the digital world, acting as a vehicle for physical goods on demand. A conference dedicated to the technology, NFT.NYC, has also seen growth in the years since the first conference in 2019.
FACINGS has launched several campaigns on behalf of select beta customers. The collections so far are Lars Kommienezuspadt’s Dark Pinup genre of photography. Dark Pinup is a subgenre of pinup photography Lars has established over the last 20 years and this collection digitizes his work in an NFT format. Cryptowriter’s Finney Chapter 1: Finney’s Arrival launched on FACINGS’ tech in Summer 2021. Skullz is an all metaverse band with their inaugural debut on WAX. NFTrippy is a collection of educational and Psychedelia mushrooms. The Strange and Unusual is an NFT collection meant to replicate The Strange and Unusual Oddities Parlor in Kingston, PA, but in the form of NFTs. The YNG DNA NFT collection is the first NFT set by Zaire Wade’s YNG DNA clothing brand.
