Structure[edit]
The FC Dallas Development Academy is structured into four individual tiers:[2]
- FCD Academy
- FCD Premier
- FCD Select
- FCD Juniors
The FCD Academy consists of the U-18, U-16, U-15, U-14, and U-13 teams, which compete in the U.S. Soccer Development Academy league. They also compete in other prestigious tournaments such as the Generation Adidas Cup and the Dallas Cup. FCD Premier consists of one team at each age group for top players not in the academy program. FCD Premier is also the top level for girls in the program. Their teams play in the Elite Clubs National League. FCD Select consists of boys and girls soccer teams ranging from U-11 to U-19 that play against the many soccer programs in the area. FCD Juniors is for boys and girls ranging in age from 7 to 10.
In addition to the Dallas–Fort Worth metroplex, the club has affiliate programs in San Antonio, Costa Rica, East Texas, El Paso, Northwest Florida, Laredo, Monterrey, Tri-Cities (Tennessee), Midland, and Lubbock.
