FEAT Group[edit]

FEAT Group is the Interscience Alliance for Research Excellence supported by the FEAT Foundation, a non-profit and non-municipal foundation under public law, together with the FEAT GmbH, a collaborative venture of the foundation. Its public purpose is to further science and research by nurturing individual highly-gifted talents. As an education initiative focused on research and science, the FEAT Group intends to gather the most brilliant minds of tomorrow (united in FEAT Universiteam) and to nurture their talents to the best of its ability and knowledge to the aggregated benefit of the general public interest. Their individualistic working maxim: Attainment sans PR!

History[edit]

On Friday, May 20th, 2016, the president of the administrative region Middle Franconia in Bavaria, Dr. Thomas Bauer, signed the certificate of recognition of the FEAT foundation, therefore granting it a legal personality in its foundation statutes from May 11th, 2016, FEAT commits to the individual nurturing of young, highly-gifted talents.

It is headquartered in Nuremberg. Its full name is: Foundation for Exceptional Abilities and Talents (© FEAT-Stiftung).

The FEAT Foundation promotes science and research. It is the archetypical university. Highly gifted scientists make up the international community of researchers. These scientists are nonconformists to the effect that their work is impartial and interdisciplinary! The bylaws for promotion serve the interests of the common weal. The group of cooperating universities and companies is hand-picked, as foreseen in the framework agreement. The companies involved in the project ensure project capitalization. The scientists at FEAT are the pinnacle among the best academic talents, the scientific explorations of whom are always groundbreaking, in contrast to those of conventional university graduates. Exceptionally talented scientists develop practical, marketable solutions based on their research. This way, by promoting science and research, FEAT contributes to its coexistential social acceptability. FEAT foundation selects its cooperation partners based on these criteria.

Society’s existential hardships have given rise to the need for this foundation. The greatest challenge is securing the basis of our existence: water! In addition to plastic islands the size of Europe, radiation, toxic polymers, heavy metals, feces, and sometimes even deadly pathogens pollute the H2O circulating the global organism. This gives rise to diseases, some of them new, from which no one can really be safe. Not to mention the lasting destruction of our ecosystem. The way nuclear waste has been disposed of is one of the causes that have let the primordial carrier of life, water, become a global enemy of life. One of the proclaimed goals of FEAT is to reduce the peril associated with nuclear waste using complementing nuclear reactions with free neutrons. This method transmutes durable components in the radioactive waste into more fugacious ones... (this project preview only serves to illustrate the nature of our overall research efforts).

Background[edit]

© FEAT-Stiftung, Foundation for Exceptional Abilities and Talents, hereinafter FEAT, is a nonprofit, non-municipal foundation under public (German) law headquartered in Nuremberg. Its public purpose is to further science and research by nurturing individual young, highly-gifted talents. As an education initiative focused on research and science, FEAT intends to gather the most brilliant minds of tomorrow from all over the world and to nurture their talent to the best of its ability and knowledge to the aggregated benefit of the general public interest.

Compared to other trivial institutions, FEAT has set the highest standards to become an education institute of the highest level and excellence for the greatest talents in the world. Special attention is given to 'exceptional talents' in natural sciences, which, unfailingly, will deliver a guaranteed and clearly discernible added value for the common good. Therefore, the foundation's work is cofinanced by precisely those stakeholders who are not willing to accept a world without the added value offered by FEAT and who, in consequence, will have a permanent interest in maintaining and increasing the endowment fund.

The elementary prerequisite for FEAT is that their independence in terms of society, culture, politics and religion is vouched for. This way, the contributing companies as well as cooperation partners from private schools and universities alike are integrated into one and the same decision making architecture at FEAT in equal measure.  Moreover, all project stakeholders, without exceptions, have made a permanent and documented commitment to the non-profit nature of FEAT.
