Fashion Inspired Global Sophistication, commonly known as FIGS is a medical fashion clothing business founded by Heather Hasson and Trina Spear in 2013.[1][2][3][4][5][6][7]

After working on Wall Street in investment banking, Spear and Hasson started selling scrubs out of a car The first 1,000 sets of scrubs were sold at the 7:00 a.m. and 7:00 p.m. shifts outside of City of Hope hospital in LA.[8][9]
Overview[edit]
The company produces medical clothing, which it sells online. It claims that the scrubs are antimicrobial, wrinkle resistant and made from lightweight, breathable fabric. The company's owners say that it provides children in Africa and Asia with school uniforms for each item the company sells.[1][2][3][5][9][10][4]
