FINARTIS SA (formerly S.A.G.E. Systèmes appliqués à la gestion d'entreprise SA) is a Swiss financial software publisher established in 1986. FINARTIS is headquartered in Switzerland and is not related to the Sage Group of UK which specializes in ERP. FINARTIS develops software for private banking, Prospero, and portfolio optimization, BlackSwan Financial Platform. BlackSwan uses non-Gaussian distributions that accurately take into account extreme events such as market crashes to precisely model the behavior of financial assets and optimize the expected shortfall (or expected tail loss).
