Mace Copeland IV (born September 01, 1995), better recognized by his stage name FMG Copa$tetic Baby[1], is an American producer, singer, vocalist, composer, rapper, songwriter, and musical director for the Flyness Music Group.[2] Flyness Music Group is a self-regulating record label founded in Atlanta, Ga.
Early life[edit]
FMG Copa$tetic Baby was born on September 01, 1995, in Atlanta, Ga. His father's name is Mace Copeland Sr. And his mother's name is Dana Lockley, his parents are deceased. There are 8 brothers and sisters in his family. From an early age, he was well versed in his studies. He holds a Bachelor’s degree in Elementary Education & Special Education from Grand Canyon University, then he earned a Master’s degree in Kinesiology from the University of Louisiana at Lafayette.
Career[edit]
FMG Copa$tetic Baby has been involved in music after joining the band in the eighth grade. When he was involved in the marching band in his high school, he learned how to read music and how to sing music live and he loved to listen to live music. He used to record music with his band director in his high school after his school classes and after band practice. His band director was a music producer, that band director valued his lyric skills and he always desired to be like him. The band director was his role model and when he had no studio the band director always gave him the opportunity to record music.
In 2010 he started making his own instruments and then became interested in learning the engineering side of putting his voice on the track. He officially started producing music in 2013.
In 2012, he met rapper E Vicious AKA Vicious. He was a member of the legendary group UGK Records (Underground Kingz), originated by mythological rapper/producer Pimp C. Rapper E. Vicious A.K.A Vicious treated him like his own son and was a robust mentor to him. He did his first show with the famous rapper at the age of 18. He always wanted to meet the rapper, but he thought it would never happen. Local DJ KK (Katron Richard) introduced him to the rapper and gave him an opening slot to perform for the rapper show.
FMG Copa$tetic Baby began creating in 2009 and rapping in 2010. The music director is now gaining traction with one of his largest hits, "Neva Leave My Side,"[3][4]which has been streamed over 9 million times in six months alongside his new Beatbox Freestyle Music Video which is projected to do “ Big Numbers”. The Releases "Hit Her with The Whoo",[5]“Turning Up in This B***h[6], Bend It Ova On Tha Dance Floo[7]. The producer ensures establishing his current establishment in hip hop.
Previously at the show, FMG Copa$tetic Baby met the rapper in the secluded room where he was left in freestyle, the rapper's words automatically inspired him to develop a star. He didn’t feel so confident about his music until he gave him a positive but honest response. He was good with the freestyle raps that E. Vicious gave him the opportunity to present his label Vicious Entertainment. He did the Just Wanna Ball remix while under the label featuring Baton Rouge rapper Boosie Badazz.
Flyness Music group[edit]
FMG Copa$tetic Baby (Mace Copeland IV) founded a music group in Franklin, La in 2013, whose name is Flyness Music group.[8] Initially, this music group was based in Franklin, Louisiana, now it is located in Atlanta, Ga. Also, FMG Copa$tetic Baby has produced for Known Louisiana Rappers like Mista Cain, New Cupid ( Cupid from The Cupid Shuffle), Foxamillion, Level, Game Ova Skip, Lil Trill & more. Launching several collaborations with multi-platinum producers like Mouse on Tha Track, YungLan, Dope Boi, and various others. The producer’s singles have all been endorsed by the World-Famous DJ Tha Chill (Mr. Bluboy).
