FTL (File To Link)[1] is a free web app that allows you to upload any type of file to the internet without signing in. It was developed by a South African developer Bonginkosi Khumalo and launched on 13 July 2020 . At the time of the launch Bonginkosi Khumalo was 13 years old. FTL stands for File to Link, which means that you can get a link to your uploaded file that you can share with anyone. FTL offers unlimited storage and fast upload speed. You can also manage your files by creating an account or logging in with your existing one.

FTL V2.0 came with new features, users can upload any type of file to FTL, such as documents, images, videos, audio, code, executable programs, fonts, archives and more. They can also choose a username for their file and press the send button. Files can now be stored forever without expiring date. The web app then generates a link that can be shared with anyone who wants to download the file. Users do not need to create an account to use FTL, as it is created automatically for them. They can log in on another device using their room number and private key.
