FXstreet is a global online currency trading portal that offers real-time exchange rates, currency charts, news, market forecasts, technical analysis, and currency conversion tools. The site is owned by Forexstreet S.L and is registered at the Registro Mercantil de Barcelona.[1] FXstreet is published for more than 50 countries across seventeen languages and is among the top ten online currency trading portals in the world.[2][3]
Francesc Riverola, an economist from Barcelona, launched the website in 2000[4][5] with the vision of providing comprehensive currency trading coverage online. Together with partners Míriam Pinatell and Sergi Fernández, the site expanded into an international business. As of May 2010, FXstreet.com reached more than 80,000 unique users a day, according to Compete[6], and achieved top 10,000 world status according to Alexa[7]
