In phylogenetic nomenclature, fabids (Fabidae) are a group of eudicots that had been informally named "eurrosids I"[4][5][6][7]. The clade is composed of the following orders: Celastrales, Cucurbitales, Fabales, Fagales, Oxalidales, Malpighiales, Rosales, and Zygophyllales.[8][9] No non-DNA-based synapomorphies have been discovered for this clade.
