Fabrice Nze-Bekale was born on August 30, 1973 in Gabon. He is the Chief Executive officer of ACT Afrique.[1][2][3][4]

Before joining ACT Afrique, Fabrice launched and managed Gabon’s national mining company, Société Équatoriale des Mines (SEM) for 6 years. Previously he was the Head of Corporate & Investment Banking at Citibank in Gabon before joining Celtel International as Group Corporate Finance Manager. He also worked in the Global Telecoms and Media department of Standard Bank PLC in London. He has invested in startups in Gabon, Senegal, France, and the United Kingdom. He is the co-founder and President of the Gabon Angel Investment Network (GAIN) and a member of the Dakar Network Angels [5][6][2]

Fabrice holds a Master’s degree in Finance and Financial Engineering from the University of Paris-Dauphine (France) and an MBA from London Business School (UK) where he was the Chair of the Africa Club.[1][7]

In 2011, he was a member of the board of Comilog.

He the chair of the remuneration and talent committee.

In 2012, he was a member of the board of Gabon’s sovereign wealth fund, Fonds Gabonais d’Investissements Stratégiques (FGIS).

He chaired the board of REG, the  gold producer in Gabon from 2012 to 2017.

He was Executive Chairman of CGCO, the national gold trading company from 2013 to 2017.

He was Chairman of the board of Gabon Manganese and Ferro-Alloys (GMFA).[1]
