Fabryka Kart Trefl-Kraków – Polish manufacturer of playing cards, board games and custom games.
History[edit]
The company was founded in 1947[1] in Cracow as Krakowska Fabryka Kart, then changed its name and moved its offices and machinery in 2014[2] to Podłęże near Niepołomice. Fabryka Kart Trefl-Kraków is the biggest and the oldest producer of playing cards and board games for adults and children in Poland. It has its own sub-brand, Fabryka Kart, that manufactures games on behalf of other companies, game publishers, advertising agencies and authors. Fabryka Kart Trefl-Kraków is also the owner of children dedicated sub-brands: Zu&Berry and Trefl Joker Line. There are about 15 million cards and games produced per year in a factory with an area of 6650 m2. The company sells it's products all over the world.
Standards and certificates[edit]
The company meets the European EN-71 safety standard for games and toys manufacturing. Also has the certificates: ISO, HACCP, SMETA. It complies with the principle of sustainable development and care about ecology, holding FSC certificate and are about to launch construction of a new production Eco-Factory[3]. Fabryka Kart Trefl-Kraków is the laureate of many awards such as Forbes Diamonds 2019[4], Business Gazelles 2018 (and in earlier years).
