Face
Face were a Britpop band from the mid 90s boasting a line up featuring Zak Starkey on drums, Danny Burton - Vocals and Guitar, Ronnie Thomas - Bass and Gary Nuttall - Lead Guitar & Backing Vocals.
Face were widely tipped to be the new Britpop sensation of 1996 following the worldwide success of Blur and Oasis. The band played several sold out shows in their native Camden, London and were featured heavily in the UK media making appearances on live TV and accross the tabloid and music press.
As quickly as they emerged their trajectory stalled when Zak Starkey left the band to join up with The Who and shortly thereafter Gary Nuttall along with replacement drummer Smiley left the band to play for Robbie Williams who was embarking on his solo career. Gary Nuttall is still with Robbie Williams to this day and is currently the longest standing member of the Robbie Williams live band having been with him since the beginning of his solo career.
Danny Burton and Ronnie Thomas as of 2019 are working together again as Danny embarks on a solo project with a new album Electric Universe set for release later in 2019.
