Facing Future is an non-profit educational organization setup in March 2020 by Stuart Scott with the purpose of educating people and organizations about Climate Change and helping to prepare society with the effects of Climate Change. It currently is run as a collaborative organization of some dozen members that produce articles, blogs, videos, and support a website FacingFuture.Earth and YouTube Channel FacingFuture.TV.



Two organizations preempted the creation of Facing Future

The organization was formed in March 2020 by Stuart Scott with an advisorary board of members including Dr. Peter Carter, Expert Reviewer for the Intergovernmental Panel on Climate Change (IPCC), Dr. Peter Wadhams, Emeritus Professor, Ocean Physics, and Dr. Sylvia A. Earle a marine biologist and oceanographer.

Based on the paper Climate change now detectable from any single day of weather at global scale[1] which shows analysis to identify statistically quantifiable signal for climate change in any days weather data and hence actual scientific proof of climate change. This confirms all previous scientific work with statistically identifiable signal.


Facing Futures’ logo was taken from the United Planet Faith and Science Initiative logo.
