Faction is the debut Extended play by American Mathcore band Botch. The album was released in 7" format in 1995;[2][3] it's songs would later be re-released as part of The Unifying Themes of Sex, Death and Religion and Unifying Themes Redux.

Faction was recorded on 8 tracks in March 1995[4] at Jake Snider's house.[5] Some copies of the record feature a black and white cover while some have an alternate pink cover.[6] The EP was later repressed for the group's 1997 tour and featured an extra sleeve.[7]
