The Faculty of Law of Vilnius University is a Faculty of Vilnius University. The Faculty of Law is claimed to be one of the largest law schools in Lithuania.

History[edit]

[1] The Faculty was established in 1641 on the 11 of October by the privilege of Władysław IV Vasa, King of Poland and Grand Duke of Lithuania, Władysław IV Vasa making it the first and oldest Law School in Lithuania.

They celebrated their 375th Anniversary with major international and national scientific conferences, seminars, meetings with alumni took place all through the year 2016.

There are around 1500 students and around 100 legal professionals.

Initiatives[edit]

In 2016, they instituted a summer study abroad program with the Charlotte School of Law.[2]
