FADIC (The First Arabian Drug Information Centre) is an Middle eastern educational content provider aimed at clinical pharmacists.

It was founded in October 2014 to provide certifications, free resources and support for pharmacists in the Middle East.

History[edit]

  • FADIC was founded in 2014. FADIC signed up to CDC Antimicrobial Resistance challenge, the antimicrobial stewardship (ASP) school was launched in 2018.[2]
  • In 2020, FADIC became as a UK CPD provider offering Massive Open Online Courses (MOOCs).[3]
  • Then, FADIC Antimicrobial Stewardship School is shortlisted for UK Antibiotic Guardian Award.[4]

  • The online schools, such as FADIC School of Antimicrobial Stewardship (First Arabian Drug Information Centre) - The aim of the 24-month course is to teach users how to implement and measure antimicrobial stewardship programs in different settings, apply antimicrobial stewardship to different infectious diseases, and understand the applications of stewardship in acute care, ambulatory care, long-term care, and outpatient parenteral antimicrobial therapy.[5] [6]
  • FADIC products are targeted at clinical pharmacists and all pharmacists.
