Fahad Habib Khan is a licensed clinical psychologist and researcher specializing in the integration of faith and mental wellness. He is an Assistant Professor at Hamad Bin Khalifa University and the Deputy Director of the Khalil Center.[1]
Education
Khan earned his Doctorate in Clinical Psychology (PsyD) in 2015 from Midwestern University, where his doctoral research focused on acculturation, religiosity, and psychological distress among Muslim Americans.
Career and Research
Khan is one of the primary developers of the Traditional Islamically Integrated Psychotherapy (TIIP) model. In 2024, he was appointed as the American Psychological Association (APA) liaison to the United Nations through the Committee for Global Psychology.
