Fair Trade Software
Fair Trade Software takes the established principles of fair trade to the digital world. Fair Trade Software focuses on improving the perspective for graduates in developing countries through providing employment in the digital business. The course of Fair Trade Software and every company or initiative involved is monitored by the Fair Trade Software Foundation. The foundation was set up in 2011 by Andy Haxby and Neil Carmichael in the Netherlands; they conceived the initiative with their experience with start-ups in developing countries and a belief in an Open Source philosophy.
