About Faisal Patel
Faisal Patel[1] [2] [3] [4] [5] [6] is an exponential social and business entrepreneur who is passionate about bringing a change in the Healthcare, Education and Technological sector. He believes that advancement in the field of technology can influence the quality of living of the people. Faisal Patel completed his High School Education from Doon School of Dehradun, India in 1999. He was awarded the Games Blazer at Doon School. Later, he moved to the USA to pursue a Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration (BBA) at Hawaii Pacific University, where he was also the news editor for the student’s newspaper ‘Kalamalama’. He wrote various articles on current university affairs. At and after University, he worked as a marketing professional for leading organizations such as Walt Disney World and Rent-A-Car enterprise. He completed a 3-year distinguished Owner/President Management (OPM) program at the Harvard Business School in Massachusetts, USA, giving him an alumni status from one of the business schools in the world. Faisal has also established Primary Healthcare Centres in Ankleshwar & Dediapa in Gujarat, India, catering to almost 200 patients per day free of cost. In his current role, as a Founder of Aria Analytics, Faisal believes Big Data Analytics propounds game-changing business opportunities that require an innovative approach to data management and business relevance. Aria Analytics uses real-time data to provide solutions using Artificial intelligence and Machine learning. Recently, Faisal has developed a conviction to promote technological advancement in the field of Big Data, Cloud Computing, Artificial Intelligence (AI), Machine Learning, Cyber Security & the Internet of Things (IoT) with an aim to bring about advancement in innovation and enhance productivity. In 2004, Faisal Patel started his own venture, ‘Zion Distribution’ in the Pharmaceutical sector. In the span of 10 years, Zion has been successful in developing alliances with major pharma companies like Sun Pharma, Wockhardt & Zydus Cadilla, distributing their products efficaciously in North India. Zion is one of the largest generic drug distributors in India. Zion aspires to expand its logistic capacities with the commencement of ‘Goods & Services Tax’ (GST) & use ‘Deep Learning’ (a subset in the field of AI, Big Data, Machine learning) to make the operational process more efficient and effective. With an aim to aid the upliftment of society and to make a difference in people’s lives, in 2009, Faisal Patel established HMP foundation [7] in the family’s bastion at his native district of Bharuch in Gujrat, India. Through this non-profit HMP Foundation, he has launched various social initiatives for healthcare, education, and vocational training. Within the years of its existence, HMP has helped over 14,000 households. Faisal is also currently a general partner of a $120 million tech-fund based out of Singapore which primarily focuses on Big Data, Artificial Intelligence, Internet of Things and Cyber Security. The fund has already made investments in a Healthcare Delivery Services Company in Singapore and 3 Artificial Intelligence Companies in Silicon Valley, California
