The Faith in the Future World Tour (in short: FITF World Tour) is the second world concert tour by English singer and songwriter Louis Tomlinson in support of his second studio album Faith in the Future (Louis Tomlinson album) (2022). The tour will begin on 17 April 2023 in Osaka, Japan, and will conclude after 86 shows on 18 November 2023 in Birmingham, UK.[1]
Background and development
On October 14, 2022, Tomlinson announced the tour via Twitter[2] and his official website. Initially, only the 39 European tour dates were announced. On November 10, 2022, 40 tour dates for the USA and Canada were added.[3] The 7 Asian dates, which will start off the tour, were announced on February 3.[4]
Tickets for the tour went on sale on November 11, 2022, the same day that the associated album Faith in the Future (Louis Tomlinson album) was released.
Fan Projects
Multiple fan projects have been announced already by fan groups around the world.
- Louis Tomlinson "Take Over Times Square" Promotional Project was created by Skylar, funded by Louies, so that 15-second videos could be created and uploaded using the TSX app. Numerous videos appeared on TSX Entertainment's huge screen display in Times Square. Fans local to Manhattan visited during the dates and times the videos displayed to record "real time" showings, and they were posted to Twitter. Fans enjoyed participating in the promotion of Louis' music and next World Tour.
