Laura Fernanda Montgomery, better known as Fara Montgomery, is an American singer and actress.
Biography[edit]
Fara was born on February 22, 1991 in Asunción, Paraguay and moved to the US with her family, where she completed her education.[1] She was conferred with several awards in speech and debate competitions during school days. She was then accepted into the Star Magnet School Program at Dr. Michael M. Krop Senior High School, and then to Miami Dade College, where she graduated with a Bachelor of Arts in acting, singing and dance. She also trained at Teatro Prometeo at Miami Dade College, the only academy of performing arts in Spanish in the country. Fara attended the University of Florida, where she studied Telecommunications Media and Society.[1][2]
Career[edit]
Fara released her first single Pasado Pisado in 2019.[2] She later released her first music album Efectos in 2020 containing five Latin songs.[2][3]
After her album was released, she was called to participate in El Regreso de las Sombras, the comeback of Sombras en la Noche,[4] the TV series that reached the highest ratings in Paraguayan television history, and was declared of National Cultural Interest by the Congress of Paraguay.[5][6]
