Fareportal, Inc. is a US-based online travel company, which provides travel booking capabilities through its subsidiaries. The subsidiaries are CheapOair, FareBuzz, and OneTravel. The company also owns Travelong, Duke’s Court Travel, Fareportal Media Group, RoyalScenic, ClubMiles, Tripcombi , and WKTravel.[1]

The company was founded in 2003 by entrepreneur Sam S. Jain.[2] Fareportal started as a business-to-business company which built and sold an online consumer interface for retail travel agents. In 2006, CEO Sam S. Jain restructured the company to focus on business-to-consumer sales with the launch of the online air travel booking site CheapOair.[3][4]

Fareportal is headquartered in New York City, and has operations in North America, Europe, and Asia. The company employs approximately 3,500 employees worldwide[5][6] with presence in 195 countries.[7]
