Farida Khambata is an Indian Chartered Financial Analyst currently serving on boards of directors of major Asian conglomerates and financial institutions like Tata Sons,[1] Dragon Capital[2] and Kotak Mahindra Bank.[3] She is most notable, as a former member of the International Finance Corporation, for coining the term Frontier markets to distinguish faster growing emerging markets among developing nations.[4][5][6]
