Farmacia Central
The Farmacia Central was founded in 1942 and is still operational today. It is considered to be one of the longest running pharmacies in the city of Humacao.[citation needed] The Founder Julio C Garriga first opened the doors of the pharmacy at Noya Y Hernandez # 12 East in a building that was divided into 4 stores. The pharmacy moved to a bigger location across the street when the owner's son Julio E Garriga became a pharmacist and after a while became owner of the pharmacy. Now the store has moved back to its original location taking over the whole building, renovating it and giving it a classic colonial look.[citation needed]
