Farouk Ahmed Sayed
Farouk Ahmed Sayed (Script error: The function "langx" does not exist.; born 10 December 1970) is a former South Yemeni athlete who competed at the 1988 Summer Olympic Games in the men's 5000m.[1]
Sayed was the first and only South Yemeni long-distance runner to ever qualify for the Summer Olympics. He finished 18th in his 5000 m heat in 15:11.20, failing to advance.[2] His time was a personal best.[3]
