Fartha, County Cavan

Fartha or Fartagh[1] is a small townland in the south eastern side of County Cavan, Ireland, in the parish of Knockbride.[2] It is approximately 141 acres (0.57 km2) in area.[1] It is mostly made up of grassland and has a 4.5-acre (0.02 km2) lake known as Fartagh Lough with two streams flowing from it.[citation needed]

As of 2011, the townland of Fartagh had a population of 18 people.[3]
