Bahadur Fateh Hyder is the first child and son of Tipu Sultan. After the death of Tipu Sultan, Fateh Hyder assembled a response to British forces, but was offered his father's throne in exchange for surrender by General Harris. However, General Harris only wished for Fateh Hyder to surrender and not follow through on the exchange.

Vellore Munity
Fateh Hyder Bahadur also led the Vellore Mutiny and was crowned King, but was shortly after defeated by British Officers.[1]
