The Fayetteville Mustangs are a professional arena football based out of Fayetteville, North Carolina. They are members of the National Arena League and will play their first season in 2023. Home games will be held at the 10,000-seat Crown Coliseum. This marks the fifth team to play at Crown Coliseum after the Cape Fear Wildcats (AF2), Fayetteville Guard (NIFL/AIFA), Fayetteville Force (SIFL) and Cape Fear Heroes (last of the American Arena League).

On August 23, 2022, the National Arena League welcomed the Fayetteville Mustangs to the league at a press conference at the Crown Coliseum Complex in Fayetteville. [1] [2] [3] [4] The Mustangs will share the Coliseum with fellow sports franchises the Fayetteville Marksmen of the Southern Professional Hockey League and the Fayetteville Fury of the National Indoor Soccer League.
