Faysal Shaqooli

Faysal Shaqooli is a Kurdish singer from Sinjar, Iraq.[1] He immigrated to the United States in 2012 and currently resides in Phoenix, Arizona.[2] Shaqooli's musical journey began at a young age, writing lyrics and composing melodies.[3] His music has been featured on local TV and radio stations in Kurdistan.[4] His discography includes singles, such as "Were Canê", "Evina Te" and "Digel Te" which has received attention from local media outlets in Kurdistan.[5] Faysal Shaqooli was forced to leave his home country due to safety concerns, seeking refuge in the United States.[6]
