Fender Custom Shop NoNeck Stratocaster
The Fender Custom Shop NoNeck Stratocaster is a '60 Stratocaster with a custom neck shape produced in collaboration with retail store The Music Zoo, starting in 2006.[1][unreliable source] The main feature of the guitar is the large, "baseball bat" neck shape that has been borrowed from another Fender Custom Shop guitar, the '51 Nocaster.[jargon] It has the neck shape from a Nocaster, hence "NoNeck".[2][unreliable source] They have been produced in NOS and Heavy Relic,[further explanation needed] Team Built and Masterbuilt, with the majority of NoNecks being Team Built Heavy Relics. Most of these Heavy Relic NoNecks have no arm wear, but do have the finish worn from the back of the neck.[citation needed]
