Fernand Fournier-Aubry
Fernand Fournier-Aubry (November 23, 1901 – December 20, 1972) was a French adventurer and writer.
He was born in the Île-de-France in Saint-Maur-des-Fossés, which was then in the Seine department. At 19, he travelled to Dakar in Senegal, then part of the colony of French West Africa. He travelled through Africa (1919–1929), the Amazon jungle (1935–1942), the Pacific islands (1942–1954) and Asia (1955–1956).
He died in Nice in 1972, aged 71.
