Monteagudo won the 1985 Barcelona Open Youth who defeating by Italy's number one Marcello Ryan.
Monteagudo to first Spain player of the 1986 Winmau World Youth Masters are beating by Ireland's number one Kieran McCormack and losing to Belgium's number one player Ferdie Boffel.
