Ferney House was one of six houses which formed the Chatterton Estate[1][2][3][4] in County Cork, Ireland.[5][6] Located in Blackrock, Cork, overlooking Lough Mahon, the land surrounding the house has since been built on for housing developments and St.Luke's residential care home.[7][8] The original house is now demolished.[9] All that remains are the large trees on Ringmahon Road.[10]

In the article titled Finding the Kinmonths in Shandon, Cork - A Genealogical Mystery Solved in the RCB Library, it was described as a 'grand house'.
