Field Yates (born April 23rd 1987) is an NFL Insider at ESPN (1) who breaks NFL news, similar to Adam Schefter, and provides insight on Fantasy Football. He is on the Fantasy Focus show/podcast working alongside New York Times Best Selling Author Matthew Berry (2).

Field was born in Boston Massachusetts on April 23rd 1987. He grew up in the Boston area and later attended Wesleyan University where he graduated in Psychology (1).

He interned with the New England Patriots for four seasons before being hired by the Kansas City Chiefs in their scouting and coaching department. He eventually got a job at ESPN in 2012 as an NFL Insider (1). He is a regular on the Fantasy Focus show on ESPN.

Under ESPN, Yates contributes analysis, breaking NFL news and fantasy football insight year-round across the company’s multimedia platforms. He appears on many shows, in addition to his host role on ESPN Radio and on ESPN Audio’s popular Fantasy Focus Football podcast (5).

Yates is also a regular contributor to NFL Live, SportsCenter, The Fantasy Show with Matthew Berry on ESPN+ and more throughout the year. He is also a co-host of the Fantasy Focus Football podcast with Matthew Berry, Stephania Bell and Daniel Dopp, which began streaming live weekdays on Twitter (5).
