Figgehn Idestål (né Fredrik Idestål; 22 October 1984 – 16 August 2024) was a Swedish YouTube personality. His YouTube channel was created in 2012 under the name DualDGaming Extra,[4] later changed to figgehn. Idestål's content was primarily gaming videos, but he also produced videos related to cooking and food reviews.[5] At the time of his death, his main channel had amassed over 175 000 subscribers and over 100 000 000 views.[lower-alpha 2][3]
In May 2024, Idestål uploaded his final YouTube video, where he explained that he had been diagnosed with terminal cancer earlier that year and that he would be given palliative care.[8] He later passed away in August that same year.[4][9]
Personal life
Idestål announced in 2022 on his Facebook page that he would run as a candidate of the Örebro Party in the regional and municipal elections in Örebro.[10]
