Filben is a formerly populated place and former railroad locale in Mineral County, Nevada.[1]
Filben was a stop on the Carson and Colorado Railway.[2] Filben was the junction to the spur that led to Candelaria, Nevada. Filben was also known as Candelaria Junction and as Junction.[1]
On August 8, 1943, Filben was the site of an earthquake with a maximum intensity of VI.[3]
