Filiz Makarna, is a Turkish company, owned by Barilla Group, that produces and sells pasta in Turkey. Filiz Makarna, the pasta producer in Turkey, was founded in Bolu in 1974 and was acquired by Barilla in 1994.Barilla entered the Turkish market in 1994 as a partner of Filiz Makarna, which is part of Doğuş Group. This partnership lasted until 2004, when Doğuş Group sold its entire share to Barilla.Barilla in Turkey; It carries out the production, import and distribution of Filiz, Barilla, Wasa and Gran Pavesi brands.[1] Filiz, the popular brand of Turkish cuisine, was awarded the "Most Reputable Person of the Year" award in the food sector at The ONE Awards, which is one of the most important standards of the marketing industry.[2]
