Filmhub
Filmhub is an online distribution platform for filmmakers to get their films, series, and shorts discovered and licensed by channel buyers at worldwide streaming platforms.
A B2B platform, Filmhub does not charge independent filmmakers to list their titles. Channel buyers at Amazon Prime Video, Tubi, Plex, and other streaming services pay to access Filmhub's digital catalog. When channel buyers license titles through Filmhub, the filmmaker keeps their rights and receives 80 percent of the earnings Filmhub gets, per pre-negotiated revenue-share agreements. German-born Hollywood composer Klaus Badelt ("Pirates of the Caribbean", "Gladiator") originally founded the company under the name Kinonation. As of 2017, Filmhub had raised $1 million[1] in capital. Joined by Silicon Valley entrepreneur and Wharton School graduate Alan d’Escragnolle, Badelt now oversees engineering and product for the remote team.[2] In 2021, Filmhub announced[3] partnerships[4] with the Roku Channel and TCL.
