Finnishness (Finnish: suomalaisuus) is what makes a Finn a Finn.

Ethnic Finnishness can be defined as the focus on Finnish and the nation-state of Finland based on ethnic identity or nationality. Original Finns, historical minorities, newcomer Finns, and expatriates all encompass the full spectrum of Finnishness.
