The Finswimming European Championships is the continental Finswimming championship for Europe, organized by a select national federation on behalfof its governing body, Confédération Mondiale des Activités Subaquatiques (CMAS). The frequency of the championships is not official, probably due to the sport's lack of funding and popularity, but the aim is for them to be held every 2 years.

Championships[edit]

The first European championships were held in 1967, including the races of surface, apnoea and immersion, and as of the 22nd championships in 2008, bifins have also been a part of this continental event
