Muhammad Firdaus Rahmat (born 2 August 1997) is a Malaysian male singer, composer, lyricist and social media influencer. He is best known as a member of the modern nashid group, The 4aith, which is under Tarbiah Sentap Records, but left the group in 2019 to go solo.[1]
Career
Firdaus Rahmat was one of the members of the group The 4aith which was formed in 2016. Apart from him, the group also includes Aniq Muhaimin Ismail, Amir Firdaus Razali and his own twin brother, Fahimi Rahmat. With the guidance of their mentor, Ustaz Ahmad Adnin bin Roslan, this group is very famous for transforming Western song lyrics into proselytizing art. Later, they recorded their original songs "Yang Pertama" and "Shine" (with Omar Esa), which brought them their name as a group singer.
The 4aith disbanded at the end of 2018 with Firdaus deciding to become a solo singer. In March 2019, he recorded his first solo single, "Aku Rayu", followed by his second single, "Sentiasa" which was released on 12 March 2021 and became the theme song for the drama Project: Anchor SPM.[2]
Personal life
Firdaus holds a Diploma in Photography from University of Technology MARA (UiTM). He got married in 2020 and has a child.[3]
