The first lady of Kogi State is the advisor to the Kogi State governor, and often plays a role in social activism.[1]
The post is traditionally held by the wife of the Kogi State governor, concurrent with his term of office, although the Constitution of Nigeria does not recognize the office of the first lady.[2]
The current first lady is Rashida Bello at present,[3][4] there are other living former first ladies: Mrs. Aisha Abubakar Audu,[5] Zainab Idris,
