First Light is a 2021 Maltese Experimental short film. It is the first short film that launched Christopher Sammut's career in the filming scene.

It started off as a minor project which got into more depth and pushed Christopher Sammut as a writer and director.

First Light premiered internationally on November 12, 2021, as part of Lift-Off Global Network streaming on Vimeo and later on YouTube as a Premier release

Within the first week of its debut the short film got an official selection in DMOFFEST[1], Monthly Indie Shorts [2] and Lift-Off Global Network film festivals and a nomination for Best Experimental Short Film with Cannes Shorts.

Plot[edit]

The story revolves around a man who is bound to re-live his life between 3am and dawn.
