The First Party (Turkish: İlk Parti) is a political party in Turkey that was formed on 15 March 2015. It is the successor to the Alternative Party, which had opted for a name change in a party congress. The party's leader is Bedri Eran Tapan and aims to win votes from young, disillusioned and female voters.[2]

The party intends to capitalise on political apathy in Turkey, especially towards the opposition parties whom many voters feel have little chance of winning power.[3] On 13 March, two days before the party officially established itself, the Supreme Electoral Council of Turkey issued a decision that allowed the First Party to participate in the June 2015 general election as the successor to the Alternative Party.[4] The party's delegates suffered a car accident on their way to the Supreme Electoral Council to hand over their party lists, arriving 22 minutes after the deadline. The First Party was unable to contest the election.

The party has no elected Members of Parliament, councillors or mayors and is yet to contest any elections.
