Fisting the Dead is the debut studio album by the Australian grindcore band Blood Duster, released in 1993. The track "Derek" refers to the 1987 cult Peter Jackson film Bad Taste, in which Peter Jackson starred as the character Derek.
In 1996, the album was released in the US as bonus tracks on the US issue of the group's 1995 EP Yeest. In 2001, it was reissued on vinyl with Yeest on the B-side. In 2005, the album was reissued on bassist Jason Fuller's label Goatsound with bonus tracks from a compilation CD. In 2008, it was reissued on Stomp Records with Yeest, the compilation tracks, and a gig at the Great Britain Hotel on 18 August 1993 as bonus tracks.
