FitHouse is an American boutique fitness studio chain. The company has raised $10 million in venture capital funding[1] from Global Founders Capital, Xavier Niel and Fabrice Grinda.[2][3] It has unlimited fitness classes for a monthly fee and was founded by Clement Benoit, Benjamin Chemla[4][5] and Chase Rifkin.[6]
In March 2018, FitHouse opened its first location in Manhattan's Lower East Side,[7] with 12 locations scheduled to launch within the first year of operations.[8] FitHouse signs short leases with New York landlords that allow either the company or the landlord to cancel the lease on short notice.[9][10]
Membership includes a variety of workout classes.[8][11] Instructors for FitHouse classes come from top New York boutique fitness studios such as Tone House, SoulCycle, Fhitting Room and Y7 Studio.[12][7]
