Five Nights at Freddy's: Fazbear Frights

The Five Nights at Freddy's: Fazbear Frights series is an anthology series of mystery horror novels in the Five Nights at Freddy's series. The books are written by Scott Cawthon with various authors and published by Scholastic Inc. The first volume was released on December 26, 2019, while the last book was released on April 19, 2022.

Structure

Each book contains three short stories as well as epilogues, with a total of thirty-four stories spanning the eleven installments. The series also includes recurring characters from the franchise, along with new faces that exist only in the Fazbear Frights universe. The series takes place in its own universe, detached from that of the video game series, however some aspects of the stories can be used as metaphors and parallels to the game and new worlds that could potentially answer unanswered questions from both universes. Many, if not all, of the stories told in Fazbear Frights are not isolated in their relation to one another.

Stitchwraith Stingers

At the end of every book (excluding Felix the Shark) is an epilogue story following an ongoing narrative that ties each story togther. It follows a detective named Larson investigating the strange events occuring in town. One of which is a robot called the Stitchwraith, who collects artifacts from various Fazbear Frights stories such as Fetch's CPU chip.

Other media

On July 2, 2021, Scholastic announced that Fazbear Frights books would receive a comic book version. The order of the stories diverges from the original ones.
